Shipping Your New Vehicle
Euroam Imports are able to ship to many thousands of destinations around the World from 4 locations around the United States. We ship from the major ports of L.A., Houston, Miami and New York. You might think of L.A. being a bad port to ship cars to Europe, but it's not. The boat sails through the Panama Canal onto it's final destination. Shipping can take from 18 days to 30 days to Europe, which includes port & customs clearances.
Your vehicle will be collected from the dealer's premises once it has been paid for. The car will be transported to the nearest port and prepared for shipping. In every case, we do recommend you take a Marine Insurance Policy. More information on request.
In most cases, we will only provide quatations for containerised shipping. Where containers are not available, we will make you aware.
Marine Insurance
It is our strong recommendation that you pay the extra amount for Marine Insurance. You never know what is going to happen when the boat is at sea, and if your car is aboard, you need to insure against unexpected issues. The worst case possible is that the ship will sink and your car will end up on the ocean floor. Marine Insurance covers total loss as well as damage that may occur, however unlikely. Marine Insurance will offer you a rest-less night's sleep for the duration of the car's transit time.
What is the cost? 2% of the vehicle's total invoice price.
